Grayshott Tennis Club

Grayshott Tennis Club provides playing opportunities for members of all ages and standards. We have club tournaments throughout the year and an annual summer tournament. We also have regular club sessions and ladies and mens teams participate in the Aldershot and District League. Coaching opportunities are provided for tots, juniors and adult members throughout the summer.

Just a quick reminder to all of our members to re-join for the new year starting on 1st April. Please pay membership by end of April. Hopefully you will have all reeived a reminder e-mail with your subs for the year.

As you know, being a member of the Club entitles you to participate in the draw for Wimbledon tickets. This year the LTA has changed the process for running the ballot and allocating tickets. Instead of distributing tickets to clubs and allowing them to run their own ballot, the LTA has run a single central ballot for all eligible club members.

This means that you may have been notified directly by the LTA if you have been successful in the Ballot and they will have advised you of your tickets and told you that you must accept them by 27th Match (otherwise your tickets will go back into the ballot).

So this year we are not running a Club ballot. Also, the LTA is not informing us of how many tickets we received or who won them.

If you have won some tickets - CONGRATULATIONS. If not, better luck next year. Being a registered member of a Club does still entitle you to the Wimbledon ticket draw!!

Club Committee

As many of you know, having a safe environment for our juniors to play tennis is a core part of our mission as Grayshott Tennis Club. Under the overall direction of our new Welfare Officer - Caroline emslie - we are championing the LTA “SAFE TO PLAY” initiative. You can review our club policies on our website and also connect directly to the LTA Safe to Play website (see menu option under Coaching or use the link below).

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please reach out to Caroline who can help.
